My childhood church didn’t have Christmas pageants. I’d always wanted to be in one, but once I grew up, I figured that was it. Fast forward to Christmas of 2004. I was asked if my little daughter, who had just turned 2, could be an angel. There was another Mom with a 2-year-old son, who was also asked. They told us that WE could also dress as angels and hold our little ones: Big angels holding little angels. Now for the punch line: we were both also pregnant! So there I was, 40 years old, pregnant, holding my daughter, with another pregnant angel holding her son…at my first-ever Christmas pageant!
Just doing a little math here. The copyright on the comic says 2005. Jeri was 13 then. That would make her 28 today. So what’re she & Johnson doing these days?
