I will never understand the appeal of tattoos. Why mar your body? Tattoos are like buying an expensive new sports car and then taking the keys and scuffing the paint job.
I know a lot of it has to do with the mindless following of trends. People see some celebrity or professional athlete sporting a tattoo and feel they must run out and get one, too. It makes them so-o-o cool.
