My daughter went on a field trip for a summer academic program she’s involved in. They supplied the lunch. Unfortunately, it was a sun-butter sandwich (which she can’t stand), carrot sticks (which she can’t eat because of her braces) and milk. It was a good thing that she had brought a chewy granola bar with her. She’s got another trip this Friday; I’m making her a sandwich.
Back in my single days; more than 50 years ago; My future wife came by my apartment one late afternoon and I was eating my dinner. It was a slice of white bread and eating out of a tuna can with a fork. I think that’s why she married me!
