I’m on board with all these suggestions! It’s been several years at least since I’ve watched even a part of the Oscar telecast, but with these techniques in place, I wouldn’t mind watching again….

I’m still waiting for someone to walk up, wave at the audience as he grabs the oscar, and say ‘Thanks, everyone!’ as he continues on his way backstage.
