I really thought she would be hauling her son back to prison by the ear, but it appears she intimidated him into going quietly..Me thinks she and the warden are in love.
You know, this place is loaded with the rudest, most hateful people. I don’t just mean the prison. Man, every time they go shopping, all the salesmen are jerks. Most of the waiters in the restaurants slam the customers. Everyone has a put down. Sheesh!
Yeah, they are back at the prison!!!! I cannot reasonably predict what will happen now between the warden, mom, Magnus and Rufus, but it should be soon that we are back inside seeing how the lonely, unjustly imprisoned Joel is. I hope that he is doing ok. Food wise, he should be doing adequately, but the loss of his freedom and the loss of his pipe… I hope he is not going to mentally scarred by this experience. Joel is a scholarly/philosophical fellow, and since he also has a great deal of inner fortitude, I am hopeful that this wretched experience does not change how good and kind he is.
