Poor Andy ! I know just how he feels. People today are so self-absorbed in their iphones, smartphones etc. that they don’t, won’t and can’t make eye contact and hold a normal conversation.And it just isn’t ‘screenagers’ and young people. People our own age are so caught up in checking their emails, tweets, and facebook that they have forgotten how to have a face to face conversation without having an electronic device in their hand.
I don’t mind the idiots staring at their phones in the bar, they probably don’t have anything to say that anyone cares about, but when they text and post while they’re driving a car, it’s time for drastic action. Flogging would work for me. Second offense, they would simply be taken out and shot.
My Smartphone has automatically turned my music down because it has a warning saying that listening to loud music for long periods of time can damage my hearing. That’s pretty clever I guess.
At least it doesn’t have a thing where it says I’m texting too much. Not that I text a lot anyway.
