@jajd, i don’t think zipper and zonker are alike at all. when i first read the original zonker cartoons, i found him fun and entertaining - a true free spirit. with zipper it all goes sour. does anyone remember when zonker used to talk to flowers to encourage them to grow? or when he used to go scuba diving in walden puddle (diameter about 1’)?
at different times, zonker had jobs. he wasn’t a complete mooch on society. he respected the fact that he had responsibilities.
to me, zipper is almost a complete zero - say, 0.00001.

Whichever set of parents, their attendance–just like Zipper’s–is a fantasy.
You have to earn a REAL diploma to know its (limited) value.
