Of course, “soaring” is relative. “Donald Trump is the number one choice for 15 percent of registered Republican voters in the latest Economist/YouGov Poll and the second choice of 12 percent of Republicans. Trump’s second choice status bests Jeb Bush’s position as the top choice of 11 percent of Republicans.”Furthermore:“Two-thirds of those who choose Trump first or second support the goals of the Tea Party, higher than the overall percentage of Republicans who do. They are much less likely to have a college education than are other Republicans, and they are more likely than other Republicans to say they are “very” conservative.”

It shows how sad the GOP slate is this year that Trump can claim first place by default, just because he has the most stridently racist position.

I find it hilarious people are praising Trump (online mostly) because he’ is at least honest and isn’t afraid to speak his mind’ compared to the other Reps.

Because I guess that is better? A guy who is honest about his ignorance and hate than the politician who tries to hide it?

Her’s a question and a prediction. How many Repubs actually believe the crap they spout (I call it oral diarrhea) and how many are pandering? Hillary will win after veering left to head off Sanders and win again in 11/16, the Dems will regain a majority in the Senate (but not 60) and narrow the margin in the House Of Congress.

Motivemagus been wondering about those statistics and rankings for some time, being second in a crowd of four folks ain’t saying much, like being a zero of 15% like Trump.

BTW, how seriously can I take your comment if you call the upcoming presidential election a mid-term?
