Is Lisa finally realizing that the tax exemptions and “relief” Bush 2 (Reagan, etc.) gave did not create more jobs, just more work for the same (or less) income? That Big Business is not turning the wheel of American Economy?
Trickle down economics at work. I do agree with you Mike Herman there should be illegal aliens in the other spaces but those jobs were exported oversea to Asia for even less money.
Democrats have controlled Congress for every major increase in spending, and the reverse is true. You claim Reagan increased the debt, but it was under Democratic leadership in Congress where it actually happened. You claim Bill Clinton cause an unparalleled increase in growth, and a balanced budget, but it was under Republican leadership in Congress that this occurred. You blame Bush for exploding budgets, but it was a) war time (justified or not, it is what it is) and b) Democrats oversaw most of the ballooning budget. Here are a few pictures that help identify and correlate budgetary changes compared to parties in control: You can have your own opinions about the debt and who is responsible for it, but you can’t have your own facts. And maybe “nothing for Obama” is the appropriate course of action, given his predilection to come up with an ever-more present nanny state that ends up costing taxpayers billions or trillions.(Sorry about the oversized images. Making them small enough to fit in this column kills the ability to read them.)
Ah, yes, the “labor force” argument that ignores how many have retired, gone back to school, or dropped one or more of their multiple jobs, because the single job they now have pays enough to survive, or spouses that have now been able to leave the labor market when their spouses finally got better jobs. Less than full time jobs remain a problem, but that’s declined also. Private sector full time employment IS UP! Get over it, righties.
@sw10mmSpeaking of “government assistance,” would you ever include the trillions of $$ that Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and the Bank of America received from the U.S. taxpayers?
The guy pushing this wheel around is the one that Mr. Bush3 says needs to put in more hours of labor. And at minimum wage, of course..How much did Bush3 earn per hour this year?

Where are the masses that profit from his work? They should be cheering him on so that they can stay on government assistance.
