I think I could do some of those jobs.

Get two Pink Volvo’s with “GAY IS BEAUTIFUL” and “VEGATARIANS ARE IN” bumper stickers and have one cris-cross Montana, and one cris-cross Maine. ’

apparently DICK is making a point here……lessee , is it that the good ol boys in montana wouldn’t stand for a gay or non meat eating person and maine people would…….or is that montana people are gay hating carnivores and maine people are limp wristed pansies who eat only vegetables or is it that DICK hates the fact that there are people in this world who don’t have the same likes and dislikes that he does

Why does the man reading the paper have his right ear on backward?

I think it’s supposed to look like the man’s ears are sticking straight out. In other words, what looks like a backward ear on the right is actually the back of the right ear. It’s a difficult perspective to try that.

Apparently Dick-T also doesn’t understand the use of an apostrophe to denote possession and the lack of one to denote plurals on the word Volvo.

I’m also surprised that someone else hasn’t come in and commented that the artist must hate road workers and blah blah blah like they did when I once remarked about the standing around and idling that road crew members do during the course of their jobs.

Those job ads were definitely placed by Caltrans in Calif. one of the reasons were going to hell in a hand basket! Our freeways are now known as potways! and I don’t mean the kind you smoke.

I prefer when there are temporary traffic lights put up rather than the people who stand in the road. It’s GOT to be less expensive than paying someone…doesn’t it?

Looks like stimulous jobs.

The sad thing is a lot of those guys have been laid off or lost their jobs…they invented a shovel that stands up by itself!
