Anyone ever see The Brave Little Toaster? There was a scene in a junk yard where these junk cars were singing about how they were “Worthless” before being crushed into scrap cubes. This comic reminds me of that.
There’s a Disney cartoon with a similar premise but a much happier ending: Suzy the little blue coupe. It ‘s from the 1940’s, and the artistic style is very similar to the Cars movies (except, of course, being hand drawn instead of computer generated, and featuring prewar body styles). It’s one of my favourite cartoons.

It IS sad. All my life I’ve been fighting the urge to anthropomorphize inanimate objects, and this here is why.
On the other hand, what if your underwear was conscious and aware of your farts?
