    Yes, providing health insurance coverage to millions of people who couldn’t afford it has to be a despicable idea. They should have passed a few more tax breaks for big money instead.

    Good depiction, Obama is a joke. The man is so far over his head it is ridiculous. We would have been so better off with Hillary, she at least had some experience and she definitely would have had a ace team backing her up. People complain they don’t want dynasties of the Clintons or Bushes, but hey they are the most qualified.

    @OlongapojoeWould you mind very much explaining yourself how, where and when the Clintons, and the Bushes got that qualification you talk about. Is there a school they go to? Sorry to bring some reality but American politics, and everywhere else for that matter, the one with the best lies and the most money wins, and the looser vote for them.

    Spend 30 plus years in healthcare as I have, see what goes on first-hand as I have, and then I will respect your opinion on this subject.

    The beginning of the end of health care in this country was the early 1980s, when insurance companies went from “we’ll take your word for knowing your job” to “we’ll tell you how to run your practice”. It was one of the slipperiest slopes you can imagine..

    Who was president then, do you remember?

    And I think Mr. Obama might have still been in short pants at the time.

    The proposed case for SCOTUS focuses on about four words in that massive bill, that Republicans wrote a lot of in committee, that Republicans have refused to go back and “correct” for the good of the people.

    As to the ACA effect, my premiums went up 1% this year, after averaging a 15% annual increase all through the Bush years, so yes, it does work better for most, despite the screwups Republicans inserted to protect insurance company profits.

    And recently, someone pointed out that the Best way to understand Healthcare in America is to realize that one of the Biggest Hit Series on television recently was about a Schoolteacher who was forced to become a Meth Dealer in order to pay for his Cancer Treatments..

    Medicare supplement insurance and Medicare part D premiums are set by private insurers. You are also free not to be a part of them, so why are you complaining. Republicans will not allow the government to negotiate drug prices with drug companies. You are paying for that decision.
