I subscribe to this as one of the strips in my email. I right click the strip in the email, and open it in a new window (not tab). Then I left click the strip for the enlarged image. It works fine for me. The image is larger than the screen, and I use the slider on the right to move it up and down (it’s full width of a widescreen monitor). I’m using Firefox on a Windows7 desktop.
Another simple method is to right click and save the enlarged comic to your desk top. Open it in a good photo viewer and enjoy as long as you like, then either archive for later enjoyment or delete as your storage space allows.

you’ve probably tried this — but maximizing the tab or opening nemo in a separate tab, and then maximizing, or going full screen might work.

1) Expand the image.2) Right-click to show options: select the option to view the image in a new tab.3) Go to the new tab and look at the image.
(If you view image in a new tab before expanding, it’ll the the small image you get, not the enlarged one.)

I just click “no style” on the view menu. Then I get both the small picture for seeing it all at once, and the large picture with scroll bars.
