The story has completely lost all credibility. “We’ve got seconds, not minutes!” and yet he just jumped into that ol’ space suit and zipped it up in nothing flat.

Miny Boy said, about 7 hours ago:“Dude this is space, he’s dead the second he hitsvacuum.”He’s got as long as his brain oxygenation lasts (at least three minutes). What makes you imagine vacuum is fatal, let alone instantaneously lethal?

Good morning MC fans. As several people have suggested recently this is not a dust cloud. A surprise is coming up. Maybe more than one. Be well my friends.

After doing some more research, yeah i’m still very right, he’s dead, he’ll puff up, blood will boil, lungs will explode if there is air in them, no blood pressure and he would freeze extremely soon. Even if he did survive (which is unlikely, extremely unlikely), he could still would be hit with a ton of sub-atomic particles very possibly mutating him in the long run. Dead. D E A D. No longer alive. A frozen husk, an ex person. DEAD!

I’VE GOT IT, THE DUST CLOUD IS NOT A DUST CLOUD!!!It is actually a vacation island in space with palm trees and Hula Dancers serving tall pink and orange drinks with tiny umbrellas on them. Daddy is in a hammock under a tree and doesn’t want to come back. There.NOW can we go rescue the children? (remember them? No?)

Boone prepares to go out.“Don’t anyone try to stop me….!!”Stepmom and Lou just stand there…..“Seriously, don’t try to stop me…..!!!!!”Stepmom and Lou nod in agreement.“Oh come on, NO ONE is going to try to stop me???”“It’s dangerous out there and a dust storm is coming….seriously….a dust storm…..in space……? Doesn’t that concern anybody….Mom Lou???”“Damn I just put this suit on and now I gotta pee…”

I, too, wonder if her shout of “Kahn” is a variation of the famous “Khan” exclamation from Star Trek.

“In reality, however, animal experiments and human accidents have shown that people can likely survive exposure to vacuum conditions for at least a couple of minutes. Not that you would remain conscious long enough to rescue yourself, but if your predicament was accidental, there could be time for fellow crew members to rescue and repressurize you with few ill effects.”https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/survival-in-space-unprotected-possible/
