About the “counter” sign; do folks realize that only a small percentage of police ever fire their weapons, except at the range, in their entire careers? The media attention can turn the smallest of numbers into major events, and ignore the major events because it would irritate sponsors, or corporate managers. Over thirty gun deaths a day in the U.S., but hey, maybe four or five a year are worthy of national coverage. Perspective, propaganda, and news, it’s called “manipulation”.
