Matt Taibibi should quit Rolling Stone right NOW.-———————-He’s one of the best ( and maybe the last ) investigative reporters out there ahd and he NOTHING to do with that bogus rape story.-———————But from now on, everything he writes for Rolling Stone will be tainted with it. Don’t believe me? Try posting a link to anything he’s written on a go-comics thread and watch what happens
Taibi is about the only reason I read RS. While it was an egregious error, they did apologize for not properly vetting the story. Too bad Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/et al vetted nothing from ’curve ball" or any other source and killed a few hundred thousand people based on all their lies.
Notable that most of that flawed RS story WAS CORRECT, but alumni, wealthy ones, very right-wing, didn’t like it, or want you to know that.
The founders knew that neither socialist nor conservative policies would be the sole solution to governing and put in place a system that inhibited that from happening. They did expect reasoned arguments and eventual compromises and it worked longer and better than any other system had.
