I failed to get tenure in philosophy. So, I quit. I moved home. Now I teach middle school gym. It's not the most rewarding job for a person of my training. But our cheers against the other teams are much more effective. O-H-W-E-L-L what if you're dead and this is hell!?

Gym teacher pre-requisite just be able to mispronounce kids names to make fun of them. Hey if you teach on Long Island your pension and pay will be better than you could have ever made as a Philosophy major
