If someone but Cruz gets the nomination, you’ll have to come back in and write yet another cartoon. Or you could just change the first panel to “Oh, that Republican candidate, he so crazy”. But I think the Hillary cartoon will be good for a long time.
While I despise the term, I think it’s appropriate for this and the Hillary cartoon; instant classic.

Bors has an adequate view: it’s time for all ‘toonists, media, and politicians, to ignore the whole election thing until it’s at least actually 2016!! After all, they’ve all been running for ‘16 since December 2012 (’08 for the right)!!
I support federal law banning all political fundraising, and campaigning, until six months prior to primaries, for all offices. Maybe we’d then get 18 months of actual work for us out of each House member and 5 1/2 years out of each Senator’s term instead of them just fundraising for the next election?
