This clumsy attempt at mutiny from the 47 Jokers (“we were just being jocular!”) is going to help insure that the next leader of Iran is more hardline. Mission Accomplished, for those who think “giving ourselves another opportunity to bomb someone and breed a new generation of Iranian terrorists” is golden.

    appreciate the compilation however

“to defeat the measures of the United States” is the definition of the logan act.

treason under Oxford dictionary is “The crime of betraying one’s country”

1, 3,4,7 are all communication with “enemies” without an attempt to undermine government policy. There is a difference between actively undermining government actions and behaving diplomatic.

Insularity is not to be recommended, especially given that #4 actually opened up government actions rather than undermine existing ones.involved basic statesmanship. kept to the Washington line that Hussein needed to open up to nuclear inspectors. “unless these inspections are allowed to go unconditionally and unfettered and open”.Saudi Arabia is not an opposing state, nor was Syria, nor was Jordan. Two of them are absolute allies (Jordan+Saudi Arabia)

Politics stopping at the water’s edge only applies in the support of Bush/Cheney and the neocons lying their way into the invasion of Iraq resulting in death, destruction, and disaster that will be felt for decades, if not forever..With Iran ground fighting ISIS in Iraq, how long before there is a new world power made up of Shia Islam Iran, Iraq, and Syria, financed by vast oil reserves? Thanks George.

“And if they DO get nukes, it’s because the 47 traitors sabotaged the efforts to keep them from getting it.”.According to Kerry the agreement wasn’t binding.

Wow, I couldn’t figure out if there were any real intelligent Americans that would be supportive of these sophomoric senators’ letter writing actions and after reading many of your comments, I am still wondering.
