Makes you wonder if the fire department is able to get Dumbo down from that tree.

Since she does not have hands or claws, I assume Marigold used magic to levitate herself up the tree. Couldn’t she levitate herself back down?

Kid don’t prank call the fire department. Though the recording would make a good youtube video.

Hey I just noticed the name of the strip changed! When did “Heavenly Nostrils” become “Phoebe and Her Unicorn?”

I see.

If Phoebe really calls the fire department, that would seem to be the acid test for the shield of boringness.

Doesn’t look that high up. She could jump or fall without injury.

I love the way Marigold’s facial expression changes, from rather pleased to concerned to mildly panicky in the last two panels.
I also can just imagine how the fire dept will react if Phoebe tells them that her unicorn got stuck on a tree and needs help getting back down… LOL.
Then again, maybe Phoebe’s dad knows someone with a forklift?
Since this is a Sunday strip, we probably won’t see how it pans out, but it would be kind of cool to see the whole story arc….

This one also reminds me of the one where Marigold wants to show Phoebe that she can stand on two legs, and then jumps up and manages to jam her horn into a big tree branch, and says, “See! NO legs!”
Been wondering how she was able to free her horn from that tree… I guess it might have been magic…
