I read this comic strip earlier, and just a minute ago someone asked me what I was doing. I had to think about it, then I realized I was singing “Polly Wolly Doodle” subsituting the words with “Pinky dink dink dink, pinky dink dink dink, pinky dinky dinky dinky day.” Man, this song is catchy.
Alice is a little too aware, if she thinks of herself as “the cute little girl” already. She’s four now; what will she be like at sixteen, or at twenty-four?!

OH, I’m sorry, Alice, you were saying something? I couldn’t help pay attention to the boys’ conversation about a balloon.

Aww! Poor Alice! Check out panel two….she really is playing her heart out. Oh, well, I’m sure she’ll be seeking revenge tomorrow.
