And actually the flat tax is far more fair. I buy a Honda Accord, I pay a certain amount. A wealthy person buys a Mercedes, they pay much more. Plus this gets everyone paying taxes, even the underground economy and drug dealers—they buy stuff, too!
The “Flat Tax” costs more the less you have. Which means the richest are bothered least by it. Simple mathmatics.
A flat tax with generous exemptions. 10k/person, so a family of 4 making 40,000 would pay no income tax.
