A weed is a plant growing where you don’t want it to. If he wants them there, they’re not weeds.

I live in rural America where if it’s green, it grows, and you can mow it, it’s good.
Weeds, plants that are easy to grow, grow anywhere with little care, and therefore by not presenting a challenge are plants we don’t like.
