I bet this is not the first time Opal has wanted to punch Earl in the nose.

My parents used to give me warm milk for my nighttime asthma.

Makes sense to me. As long as she can’t sleep, she may as well do something useful.

I can’t really sleep, at least not well, unless I take an OTC sleep aid which is basically Benadryl. Now I read that Benadryl may contribute to Alzheimer’s. You can’t win.

My wife says that sounds like you, I said that sounds like evert man.

Even Opals nightgown has the same pattern as all the rest of her things.

When my son was young, he fought sleep with all his might.Since I didn’t going to be up anyway, I put him to work loading the dishwasher, putting up the dishes, loading the washer, the drier, putting up clothes, whatever COULD reasonably be done, until he finally announced, “I’m sleepy.”.Good training.

Watch, Earl will ask for cookies and milk at least 4 more times, and then Opal will be tired.

Would work for me! Especially if someone else prepared it!

I used to drink warm milk when I was younger before I went to bed.
