What, no New York Times? How come? And why hasn’t anybody, including FOX, pointed out that these guys (terrorists) aren’t brave. They only attack soft targets where there are no arms to fight back.
@Mrs1wingMuslims didn’t just happen to be in Europe in a holiday trip in the middle ages, they were there to conquer and to subjugate and kills hundred of thousand of people. Unfortunately the history books only tell us of the aftermath, and when the crusades started. There is, however one point to be addressed, the actual Pope is showing how the Catholic are changing with the time without changing their doctrine, which I think is good. Muslims on the other hand are not; they still prefer to kill the temptation rather than teach to resist the temptations. What is happening is that they are creating generations of people without character or conscience who will obey without questions.
My Iraqi friend & colleague explained to me that in order to die a martyr one can lead an entirely fulfilled life wherein you sacrifice for others. A lifetime of sacrifices, not violence; that was, in his opinion, worthy martyrdom. He said these terrorists would have stand before god and explain why they committed these murders. (yeah, he’s aware I’m an atheist). He and I and another of our friends cycled 500kms together from London to Paris a couple of years ago. He said that was a small sacrifice (it was in aid of a charity). By coincidence, we ended our ride in Malakoff, the same neighbourhood where Charlie Hebdo are located.
“I don’t believe any Catholic ever put on a suicide vest and set it off”
No, they just placed the bomb in a car instead.
Omagh Bombing, Northern Ireland“The victims included people from many backgrounds: Protestants, Catholics, a Mormon teenager, five other teenagers, six children, a woman pregnant with twins, two Spanish tourists, and other tourists on a day trip from the Republic of Ireland.”
This cartoon is both funny and very very true. The actions of these murderers will indeed have the effect that a lot MORE people will see the cartoons that they got upset about than what would otherwise have been the case. A sort of poetic justice really.
You do realize the Spanish Inquisition was over 400 years ago?? Since you keep posting the same comment on multiple toons, maybe you don’t. You are comparing to vastly different eras. apples to oranges.

No nation within the EU has the death penalty.Don’t think there is any European country with the death penalty anymore. It’s barbaric.

TheC4 belt is misrepresenting the perpetrators. These guys weren’t “suicide bombers”. Not from among the usual crazies.

Those two terrorists chose suicide-by-cop in order, in their eyes, to be martyrs. It wasn’t execution.

You do realize that’s what they want? They want us to live in fear, to be afraid to stand up to them, to speak out against them.

So pathetic that liberal terrorist sympathizers on here keep making excuses for these cavemen killers. We’re talking about TODAY folks!

That Charlie Hedbo image is now my facebook avatar. I do not agree with what they say, but I will fight to the death for their right to say it.
