as a native american (I have a card) i do not find it at all offensive and neither does any tirbal person I know. its just a bad season for them they come and go to all teams in every sport.

It is Washington. They are awful nearly every year. Daniel Snyder goes through head coaches like tissues. No, the Redskins name and the horrid play stem from the same source-bad management/ownership. Nothing mystical about it. The New York Jets haven’t been to the NFL Championship since 1969(no typo). It’s nothing against jet aircraft. They just aren’t much good.

P.S. Canadian football has one team called the Roughriders, and one former team, Ottawa, now called(wait, wait) the REDBLACKS. Named after the team colors, like the New Zealand Allblacks.
