I’ll never watch “A Christmas Story”. That thing is so full of cruelty. Ralphie’s aunt thinking him as a little boy by providing that “bunny suit” and the scene where Ralphie is stomped on and slides down the slide are just two examples of this.

I understand it won a “Major Award”.

IF I watch a ‘traditional’ Christmas movie it is: ‘A Christmas Carol with Alaister Sim. I think it is the best version although a couple of the newer ones that keep strictly with the story but have CG effects for the ’ghosts’ are not bad.

I’ve watched Miracle on 34th Street every year since ‘73…and this year I actually half-way watched the 90’s version…cute…but not as good as the original!!
