I think she hosted an SNL one time where she starts to remove her clothing during one sketch, and another character says, “Hey, we’ve already seen you in your underwear.”
Reminds me of her turn in “Galaxy Quest,” which played backhanded homage to her turn in “Alien” by having her character lose parts of her uniform piece by piece as the flick rolled on.
What I found interesting is that there was a big fuss about Weaver in her underwear in Aliens, which was boxers and a heavy t-shirt, just like everyone else in the scene. But no one ever said anything about those little numbers she had on in Alien. Probably because she wasn’t as well known in Alien as she was when the 2nd film came around.
