It was definitely done by the Ohio Express. When I was four it was my favorite song. One of my aunts had the 45 and I would literally play it for hours. Grandma was so sick of it that it was an instant one-week grounding if anybody but me played it. It always got hid as soon as I went home, but 40+ years later my aunts still tease me about how somehow I always managed to find it.
