35 permanent jobs, about 1,400 temp. That’s about the same number generated that came from the natural gas pipeline coming through our area. Now that they’ve got it this far, the plan is to take the Wyoming gas on to the coast, liquify it, and ship it to China. Same thing planned for the refined product frorm Keystone, but not just to China.. just not for here in the U.S..

dens came up with the most accurate typo I"ve seen in a long time. BTW, we’re getting lots of oil from West Africa, where American oil companies are paying 43% income tax, as opposed to the zero to 8% here at home, and getting bilions in pure subsidized drilling permits.

Gasoline prices are going down because of oversupply from our refineries NOW! Fed leases are UP, they just aren’t being developed. Our product exports from coal, oil, and natural gas are UP, despite our “desperate need” here at home.

As the nice oil shill lady states, we already have thousands of miles of pipelines around the U.S. shipping oil, gas, and coal slurry, for domestic use. The Keystone is for EXPORT of foriegn oil, NOT for use at home!! It passes btw at least 7 refineries that COULD be adapted to refine the tar sands, but the states with those refineries want DO PART of having to deal with the waste! Check out where said waste is already accumulating from Koch brothers operations (they aren’t just about coal) and you’ll see another part of the unpublicized real issues.
