Yes, defiant, if Boehner and McConnell continue to refuse to serve the American people, he will take up the slack and serve them, just as he’s been doing.
I don’t agree with everythng Obama has done in office, but compared to the damage done by W’s people, here and abroad, and looking at how the economy HAS improved, the health care situation for millons IS better (my insurance rates went up 1/2 of one percent for next year, while under Bush they went up an average of 15% PER YEAR!), the stock market is up (my portfolio is up over 300% in value since Bush crashed it into 2009, actually, housing starts are up, and those carpenters, electricians, and plumbers are NOT low wage retail workers!, and while some are stilll hurting from Bush bruises, things ARE getting better.
Now, the question is willl Boehner and McTortoise do there best to do nothing but make things worse again.
Oops, thinki I’ll go gas up the car, as the fuel price is now down right at a dollar a gallon, DANG! that Obama policy leading to an oversupply is really hurting my pocketbook!!

Read about Obama’s defiant post-election speech. Somewhere, Hilary is screaming, “Nooooo!!!” and Bill is chuckling.
