On the other hand (no pun intented), maybe the neighbor is also a disturbed guy who gives the catalog the same use Clovis does.

Wow. Gone for a month and nothing changed here. I guess Clovis is once again changing into Clovis-Rex. Ready to strike terror in everyone in Pleasantville. Calvin and Hobbes may be in for a very big surprise this time.

Off to the side. Dewey speaks. Clovis-Rex has returned. Dewey runs away, trying to find a phone to call Calvin and Hobbes. Clovis-Rex must be stopped before he unleashes untold havoc on the world. Oh, the humanity.

Clovis-Rex has emerged from the cellar where he was growing. He sees Darin. One quick chomp and Darin has become lunch. The Victoria’s secret catalog lies unused on the floor. Calvin’s phone is busy.

Clovis-Rex has busted out of the house and is headed back to Pleasantville. Nothing will stand in his way. There are tasty children at the corner waiting for the school bus. Their screams were cut short. Now full, Clovis-Rex heads to where he was defeated a short while ago. He is not happy.

Dewey has finally gotten hold of Calvin and told him that Clovis-Rex is coming after him, Susie and their daughter, Bacon. Clovis-Rex has made up his mind. Bacon will be first. Calvin is making a call to his wife, telling her to go to the safe place with Bacon. Hobbes is on his way to town.

Susie is calling the people from the planet DORX. The head dorx is on the line. “Clovis-Rex is back”, said Susie. “You better bring a lot of help this time. I’m told that Clovis-Rex might not be able to be stopped this time”. The head dorx, named Slobby, tells Susie, “We will be there in just a few hours” We will have a lot of volunteers. Don’t worry".

Katina Cooper has gone off her meds again!! And yes, I blame you Turnbloom…..

I think I got hold of a bunch of home grown stuff and used too much of it...Clovis-Rex stops at a newspaper stand and sees an interesting article. Radioactive termites are headed for Dogpatch. He knows now what he needs to do to defeat Calvin and Hobbes. The citizens of Dogpatch will get rid of the termites, but they don’t have the technology to defeat Clovis-Rex. Lil Abner is no match for Clovis-Rex.

Clovis-Rex is now in Dogpatch and sees the radioactive termites. He isn’t going to wait for Mammy and Lil Abner to get rid of them. He eats one. It burns on the way down. He likes it. A thousand more and he’s full. He needs desert. Clovis-Rex looks around and sees Daisy Mae. He swoops in and with one bite, Daisy Mae is down his throat. Abner screams, now knowing that the love of his life is gone. He starts following Clovis-Rex to Pleasantville.

Lucas is secretly posting his stuff on some other site?

Abner follows the huge foot steps of Clovis-Rex. He is having trouble keeping up, considering that he only walks in Dogpatch. But, Daisy Mae is in the stomach of Clovis-Rex. Abner thinks that maybe he should have gotten Mammy to help him, but he couldn’t find a hand crank phone anywhere.

Clovis-Rex is stomping towards Pleasantville. He is hungry again. Looking around, he spots a boy who is getting ready to kick a football. The girl who is holding it doesn’t see him. They didn’t even have time to scream. Both chomped down at once. His hunger satisfied for a few hours, Clovis-Rex heads to where Calvin lives. He doesn’t see the aliens from the planet Dorx. They have spotted him. They are amazed at his growth.

Did I miss Lucas’ funeral?

Maybe he got picked up for drunk driving and got put in jail..Clovis-Rex has grown to almost 60 feet in height. The aliens from the planet Dorx can’t believe their luck. If they can defeat him, their will be plenty of food for them. One of the spacecraft swoops in without being told to. Clovis-Rex swats it and it bursts into flames. The rest of the aliens are now reconsidering their strategy. They will wait till Calvin arrives with extra help.

Out in Pleasantville, Calvin is getting his spaceship ready. The aliens from the planet Dorx have called him. They have a new weapon that they think will bring Clovis-Rex to knees, but it has not been tested. Calvin is a little worried about this. He’ll use it as a back-up. He doesn’t want them to become enemies. Calvin is also worried about his daughter, Bacon. She wants to go with him. Susie says, NO!

Clovis-Rex is closing in on Pleasantville. Calvin and the space aliens are ready. Susie has taken Bacon to the secret place that Clovis-Rex can’t get to. He starts to rip the town apart. Calvin fires his incineration lasers. They have no effect. The blasters are next. They slowed Clovis-Rex down, but not enough. Clovis-Rex is at the hospital. Ther is now, nothing but rubble. The space aliens from the planet Dorx. use their own weapons. They slice pieces off Clovis-Rex.

Clovis-Rex feels the pain of having pieces of him sliced off. He will not be stopped. One of the aliens has an idea. They see Clovis-Rex starting to heal. Maybe they can keep him alive and just slice pieces to feed the other aliens. They decide that this is a good idea. If they can keep him from Pleasantville for a while. The aliens from Dorx call for a tanker spacecraft.

The tanker won’t be there until tomorrow. In the meantime, they will store pieces of Clovis-Rex in cold storage. He is getting tired of the aliens slicing pieces from him. He suddenly rips a tree from the ground and hurls it at the aliens. It embeds itself in the hull of the spaceship and they head to the ground. Calvin is on his way and receives the distress call. He will distract Clovis-Rex so the aliens can get away.

Lets burn the place down!

Patience..Calvin closes in on Clovis-Rex and opens fire with the flesh disruptor lasers.They startle him and he starts throwing trees at Calvin. One of them is hit. It bursts into flames. The flames burn Clovis-Rex, which makes him even more angry. He will make Calvin and Susie watch as he devours their daughter, Bacon.

So, nothing new here I see! Did Lucas get abducted by Space Aliens or does Clovis have him locked up somewhere we don’t know about?

OH WAIT, ROBERT THE PLANT GOT REALLY HUNGRY AND ATE HIM!

Calvin shoots again, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Clovis-Rex almost seems immune to all weapons. He is on the outskirts of Pleasantville. The space aliens have arrived with the tanker. All of them have gotten out of the tanker in space and sent the tanker to crash into Clovis-Rex. Just as he turns to the sound, the tanker spacecraft hits him. Clovis-Rex goes down.

Clovis-Rex is on the ground. Calvin keep firing, but Clovis-Rex slowly gets back up and grabs one of the aliens. Calvin can’t fire or risk the alien’s life. It only took a few seconds for him to regain his strength. Clovis-Rex throws the alien at Calvin. Swooping under the alien, Calvin catches him. They have lost sight of Clovis-Rex, not knowing he is directly under them.

Before Calvin can leave, he sees the hands of Clovis-Rex grad the front of his space craft. He yells at the alien. “HANG ON”. He pulls the throttle, hard, but it’s no use. Clovis-Rex has a grip on the space craft and hurls it to the ground. Both Calvin and the alien are thrown from the space craft. Dazed, Calvin tells the alien, “Quick, hide here in the bushes. I’ll try to distract Clovis-Rex until help arrives”. He fires his blaster and runs. Clovis-Rex is right behind him and gaining on Calvin.

So much for Spiff!

Clovis-Rex has now seen Calvin. There is no escape. Calvin fires his disruptor ray gun. It has no effect. His last thought is that Susie and Bacon are safe. Suddenly, there is darkness for both Calvin and the alien from the planet Dorx. Hobbs has a weird feeling and is suddenly overcome with emotion. Then, unbelievable anger. He wonders if Susie and Bacon also sense it. Back in the safe room, Bacon starts crying. She whimpers “Mom, I think something happened to daddy”.

Clovis-Rex smiles. He has defeated Calvin and now heads towards Pleasantville. Hobbes is waiting for him. Clovis-Rex suddenly hears a growl and the next thing he knows, he sees a tiger paw in front of his eye. Then, darkness in that eye. He swats at Hobbes and knocks him to the ground. In the meantime, the aliens have needed help. 75 spacecraft have arrived to do battle with Clovis-Rex. They may need more help.

Meanwhile, back at Darin’s house, Roberta the Plant and her children are headed out the door. They have changed their DNA to do terrible damage to Clovis-Rex. They will burn him from the inside out. They will have to hurry and get the aliens to take them to Clovis-Rex. Their normal DNA is safely stored and will be used to reconstruct them after the encounter. Clovis-Rex has stomped on Calvin’s spacecraft. He will do the same thing to Susie, after he eats her daughter in front of her.

Hobbes is now firing at the stomach of Clovis-Rex, trying to slice him open. Suddenly, a gash appears and Calvin and the space alien drop out. Clovis-Rex grabs some branches and seals the wound. He grabs a tree, yanks it from the ground and throws it a Hobbes. It barely misses. Clovis-Rex takes off towards the space aliens. Hobbes holds his fire and picks up Calvin and the space alien. He looks, but Clovis-Rex has disappeared.

Meanwhile, Darin takes a nap on his couch.

Darin is being kept in the dark by Dewey. He couldn’t handle knowing that Clovis-Rex is about to destroy an entire city.

On board the spacecraft, Calvin tells Hobbes, “You need to go back home to help protect Bacon”. Reluctantly, Hobbes tells him, " She is as important to me as she is to you". Calvin hits the secret button that opens up a worm hole and they zip back to Pleasantville. Hobbes jumps off to be with Bacon and Susie. Unknown to all of them, Bacon has gotten on board.

Hobbes goes into the safe room where Susie and Bacon are suppose to be. She sees Hobbes and says’ " Bacon ran out to see you. Where is she"? Hobbes turns and stares at Calvin’s spaceship which has just disappeared into a wormhole. On board, Bacon walks into the cockpit where her dad is at the controls. She calmly says, " Hi, daddy. Need any help with Clovis-Rex"?

Calvin is shocked and not shocked at seeing Bacon. She does take after him in taking chances. “Bacon”, he says, “come up and sit down. No grabbing the controls”. Up ahead, they see the aliens. They have located Clovis-Rex and are firing at him. Suddenly, he turns. He senses something. Then, smiling, he looks at Calvin’s space craft. He doesn’t know how he knows it, but Calvin’s daughter, Bacon is on board.

Clovis-Rex jumps at the space craft, but Calvin is ready. He fires at Clovis-Rex and speeds off. Bacon is looking out the window and sees Clovis-Rex looking directly at her with a sneer on his face. “Daddy”, she says, “I think he wants me a lot more than he wants to destroy you”. Calvin looks at his daughter, who is surprisingly like he was when he was her age.

Calvin has called Susie and told her that Bacon is on board with him. Susie tells him, “Hobbes and I will be there shortly. And Bacon, we will talk about this later”. Bacon looks like she is trying to find a place to hide. The space aliens have opened fire on Clovis-Rex. So has Calvin. Nothing they do seems to stop him. He is intent on destroying Pleasantville , Calvin and Hobbes. He only cares for thing. Munching on Calvin and Susie’s daughter. It will be the ultimate revenge.

Hobbes and Susie are now headed to where Calvin and Bacon are fighting Clovis-Rex. He senses that the entire family will be withing his evil grasp. His revenge is almost complete. The aliens fire their weapons. He shows his teeth and the disruptor rays bounce off and hit Calvin’s spaceship. It starts to spiral out of control. Calvin then regains control just as it is about to hit the rocks. He looks up and sees Hobbes and Susie. Hobbes fires. The ray almost rips the hand off Clovis-Rex. Now, it is all out war.

The space aliens are firing closer and closer. Suddenly, Clovis-Rex reaches up and swats the spaceship to the ground. The aliens have carried the wounded to safety. Clovis-Rex has picked up the spaceship and hurls it another alien spacecraft. The aliens were too slow to avoid it. That spacecraft goes down. Hobbes fires and cuts pieces from Clovis-Rex. It starts to slow him down. “Hobbes”, yells Susie," Come up from under him. I have an idea. If we can shoot his knees, Calvin can get a clear shot at his head“. Hobbes heads down, trying to miss the massive arms of Clovis-Rex.

Clovis-Rex grabs a tree and swings it at the spacecraft that Hobbes and Susie are in. It barely misses him. A blast from the disruptor ray hits the knee of Clovis-Rex. He goes down. The rest of the aliens now open fire. The blasts only seem to to Clovis-Rex stronger. Suddenly, they realize that the rays are feeding him. They radio Calvin, who is now shooting back up to do battle. “Calvin, our blaster rays are only making him stronger. We will readjust them”. Calvin tells them, “Hobbes and I will distract him while you get everything ready”. Off they go blast Clovis-Rex again.

Clovis-Rex is hit with the modified disruptor rays and starts to go down. All of a sudden, he lunges at Calvin’s spacecraft. Calvin and Bacon are thrown to the ground. Bot Calvin and Bacon are ejected from the spacecraft. Clovis-Rex grabs her and holds her in front of him. The shooting stops. Clovis-Rex has a sinister grin. He is about to get his revenge. Bacon screams, “Don’t worry about me. Keep shooting”. None of them fires a shot. Bacon needs them to distract Clovis-Rex. She has a secret weapon.

Hobbes and Susie are still circling and waiting for their chance. Just as Clovis-Rex is about to chomp down on Bacon, she starts using her secret weapon. She starts singing love sons to him. Clovis-Rex can’t stand love songs and tries to drop her. She climbs up and starts singing in his ear. Clovis-Rex screams in terror. He falls to the ground, still trying to dislodge Bacon. He is quickly losing strength. Calvin, Susie, Hobbes and the aliens sit in their spacecrafts and just stare in amazement.

Clovis-Rex is shrinking. He is now very weak and has no strength to get Bacon out of his ear. She keeps singing love songs to him. Everyone watches as he shrinks back into Clovis. Everybody lands and walks over to Bacon and Clovis. Bacon says, “Clovis-Rex was very evil. The only thing that could defeat him was love. We must tell Roberta the Plant and Dewey that if he starts turning into Clovis-Rex again, all they have to do is sing love songs to him”. Calvin now takes Clovis back home with Bacon, Susie and Hobbes. He is dropped off and told how to keep him calm. Pleasantville is now safe. On the way back home, Calvin and Susie marvel at what Bacon has done. Well, she is their daughter. Hobbes smiles. Everything will now be alright..The end. Well, maybe.

We’ll, it looks like it the end of this strip, anyway.

Ya never know. Clovis is pretty smart and devious. He may find a way to get back at Bacon for what she did to him.
