Wait. I thought Obamacare was supposed to kill full-time jobs. How am I supposed to know what I’m supposed to be outraged about when you keep moving the goalposts?

It did kill full time jobs. It is also raising the cost of health care insurance. The problem being shown here is that the full time jobs are becoming part time and the costs are rising so that people can not afford the insurance.

I am most certainly affected. Thanks to sequestration and can-kicking, I am paid $20 less PER EXAM from Medicare and Medicaid and Tricare from last year.

    Pay attention your own self.

^K Mart has been crashing and burning for a long time, and wages and benefits have had nothing to do with it, just bad corporate management.

Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare costs DO need to be regulated and controlled, while a descent reimbursment remains.

Which, Congress needs to come back and DEMAND that Medicare negotiate drug prices, like DOD and VA do. THAT is one of the biggest costs of both Medicare and “Private” health costs.

Which, they also just announced more restrictions on oxycodone containing scripts: wait for the horror stories of big pharma going bankrupt on that one! BTW: OxyContin, brand name, is only $30 a tab at the pharmacy, highly addictive, and potentially lethal, but the drug companies can spend millions to fight medical marijuana, let alone “recreational” use.

Please, this has been going on for decades. Fifteen years go I worked part time for a company that instructed the managers not to allow any employee to accrue enough hours per week to be considered full time expressly to avoid paying the benefits they offered to full time employees.
