@WrathkinEvidence is that the exiting occupant of the presidential office was often referred as a lame duck.

LOL Ramirez! Good One!Obama the Lame Ducker!(That must be James Clapper being hit when O ducked…is he the next administration official to be “retired”?)-But when will Media address the problem that Pretender “Hawk Obama”, now the C-in-C to use force against beheaders (without calling them Islamic Radicals) to try to gain approval in the polls….is actually tying the hands of the Pentagon Brass from doing anything except firing expensive missiles at very insignificant targets! ISIS is bragging that they can survive this easily!

‘OH SORRY! just picking up my golf ball’ – timing is everything especially in comedy. if the timing isn’t right the joke falls flat.

    also@m5:

I claim ignorance as to what Clinton knew and when he knew it. I do know about the infamous August 2001 presidential briefing entitled “Osama bin Ladin determined to attack in the United States”. I do know that several flight schools notified the FBI in the summer of 2001 that there were foreigners who were interested in learning to fly, but not in how to take off or to land. I do know that the terrorists were allowed to purchase tickets under their own names for the jets that were hijacked.

So, whether Mr. Clinton failed on his watch or not, 9/11 could certainly have been prevented.

Even if the incidents on 9/11/01 had not been prevented, the resulting wars and the damage they caused to our people, our treasury, our preparedness, and our national reputation did not automatically have to occur. There were options available, and decisions to be made. Suffice to say that there were certainly better options than those that “The Decider” chose to follow.

I don’t get blaming Obama for ISIS. But then again, I don’t have Obama Derangement Syndrome. If killing terrorists truly wiped out terror, Obama’s numbers are much, much better than any Republican president to date. But killing terrorists (and especially killing innocent civilians, like the tens of thousands killed in the Iraq war) just creates more terrorists.

Mr. Bush had bin Ladin at Tora Bora, but he chose to stop the troops and deflect them to Iraq.

I have a feeling Mr. Reagan and Poppy Bush also had their opportunities. But if you only want to blame Democrats, Mr. Clinton’s your man.

Amazing that hate farmer can’t escape his cubicle. Those cruise missiles that missed their target (one even missed Afghanistan) were Clinton “refusing to touch the guy”, and nothing bullying about “W” and Cheney using the U.S. military to pick on Saddam (whose miitary was basically non-existant by 2003) for issuing a failed “contract” on his daddy.
