Actually we wrap presents with old Comic Pages from the local Paper, so shredding IS frowned upon, at least until every has had a chance to read ‘em. (We tend to run several Years behind the current ones so it’s nice to visit “Old Friends” plus they were printed BIGGER a few years back!)

When I was a kid wrapping paper got reused. So we took our time unwrapping gifts. We did not even have a TV until I was 15. I got one working that the people next door put out for the trash.
