I’m thrilled that nerds are cool again. We can see where dumbing things down and thinking it’s cool not to be smart got us.

The difference between nerds and geeks is that geeks get things done.

I think Holly is confusing the issue; it is the tech nerds who are cool and science geeks who are not…yet.

Not without a mate it can’t.

You want geeks, they are hotter and more fun than nerds.

Once the show “Big Bang Theory” is over, geeks and nerds will be second class citizens again.

As a nerd, I can’t WAIT until nerds aren’t cool. Being cool just feels wrong to me.

I’m afraid not.

I generally use Geek instead. Working among very talented PhD Geeks, as the only non-degreed employee, was interesting. The typical Geek is very focused on their specialty and not always socially adroit. The term, Nerd, strikes me as being condescending.

No….no, they’re not.
