    When I was self employed I was always the employee of the month and got to park in the preferred parking spot – my garage.

    The best things about being self employed (while there WAS still work) was having complete control of the room temperature (so I could dress, or not, as I pleased) and the music, and have the kitchen really nearby with no one taking anything of mine. I’ve worked in many offices and some were fun, but work from home had its advantages.
