I think Senator Kevin should be careful in what he says (Maybe Carmen too!). Captain America is very upset on how the world treats the French as “surrender monkeys.” The Captain also said the French Resistance fought bravely during WW 2.
You got to give the French some credit. In WWI when the US joined the war we didn’t have enough equipment so the french SOLD us tanks, guns, and helmets to fight their war on THEIR soil. Always great allies.

As to the 2003 Iraq war, no they, did not join us in our tragic invasion of the WRONG COUNTRY to help enrich Dubya’s oil cronies and the defense contractors of the “military-industrial complex” that Eisenhower warned us about who profiteer off the deaths and suffering of our brave heroes.
The National Intelligence Estimate — commissioned by the Bush/Cheney war criminals — for that year said there were NO WMD — EVERYONE KNEW THERE WAS NO WMD.Bush’s own weapons inspector, Scott Ritter, said there were NO WMD.The UN weapons inspectors (Hanx Blix and Mohammed El Baradei) said there were NO WMD.
All of the above were ridiculed by conservatives. (Remember “Freedom Fries”?)And, as everyone knows today, all of the above WERE RIGHT.
Now c’mon, if France and Germany and other Mediterranean nations all support a truly international effort, doncha think that affords a tad greater credibility?Now pass those Freedom Fries….
