Syllabus in Middle School?
GSJohnson over 9 years ago
Yes; syllabus in middle school. I used to teach after school improvisation classes and had to supply a syllabus for 3-5th graders.

The only sex education I had in middle school were slides and a nondescript speech; the slides only consisted of 1 and it was suppose to be male genitalia.

Holly’s a great reason to never have kids. Can’t of a good one to have kids, actually.

Holly is such a brat. All middle school children are not like her.

Easy there Holly.

IMO, Holly is a very typical teenager. Believe me, they can be worse. I’ve learned not to expect much conversation if I ask a “what an original question” type of question. The cheerful, open children that I run into at the airport seem peculiar, compared to the ones I know. From my perspective, Jan’s got teenagers nailed.

Everyone keeps pointing out that Phil’s stripes means he’s a Sgt. (or Lt, depending) in response to husky51’s comment about Phil gaining a stripe. All he was pointing out was that in all the other panels there are 3 stripes, but in the last panel there are 4.

Personally, when I was a Kid, school was the VERY LAST thing I wanted to talk about on my personal OFF-Time, as if Homework wasn’t already ENCROACHING/Invading on it enough…
Beside, Holly has a rather Limited Social-Life, so really… What’s there to know?
On the other hand, if Holly was one of those Very-VERY Chatty Teens that can shoot off 2000++ words per-minute, Phil would have had his Brains BLEEDING OUT through his Eyes, Ears, Nose and Mouth… maybe a little bit smoke too.

Sex Ed? Don’t remember having that in Jr. High or Sr. High. Formal classes anyway! LOL!

Better you learn in school then from certain magazines or internet sites I say.And hopefully it also teach respect for your partner.(and how to do it safe).Just so you know, where I sit, the legal age is 15, so I think junior high is a good age for this education!

In Holly’s defense, all kids get bored to tears answering that question.
