I taught in an open school. One of my students brought in a garter snake in a jar. We left the classroom area and went to the music room. When we returned, the snake was gone. We looked all over but didn’t find the snake. So, I went to the next grade over and told the teachers that my student’s snake had got loose. The teachers all climbed up on top of their desks, and their students saw what the teachers were doing, so they did it too. Then we looked for the snake again, but didn’t find it. So far as I know, it’s still loose somewhere in that school.
