denis1112: Ebola hasn’t existed for 50 years, so it isn’t likely that anyone was studying a cure before it was discovered. Most that did were either part of the governments of central African countries (where the first outbreak was) or NGOs like Doctors Without Borders, World Health Organization, etc. Thanks to people like you, the US government doesn’t get involved until a US citizen is involved. You are not immortal; even you will die like the rest of us. Deal with it.
I guess you and the people you care about are all immune? if it was 75%,it would be more likely that over half of your people wouldn’t suvive the constant vomiting, the hemorraging from all orifices and the dying. Dying would be the best part of getting ebola.I’m glad you can’t pick the people you want to cull.
May I point out that the CDC also kept them safe for 42 years?
Also, for all you Christians out there may I point out the harsh words reserved for those who do not tend the sick and feed the poor? Better you take the risk than face His consequences!
BTW: World Health Organization has a good update from April 2014 on Ebola at their site: Fact sheet #103. It relates the real risk of transmission and the source of the disease. Panic isn’t exactly called for.
