It’s okay, Henry. The spiritual heirs of those we fought in that war are currently in control of the House and working to grab the Senate as well.

Appeasement always leads to war. There is never enough.

So, the point to this cartoon, and the belief of many posters on this site, is that diplomacy is always, in any situation, worse than worthless. Weaponry and death are the only methods that should be considered to settle an argument. Am I understanding correctly?
