Growing up my family hosted a fireworks display/bonfire wiener roast every Victoria day. It started out as family and neighbours and gradually expanded to include more people. One year we had close to 200 people and one family didn’t realize they had gone to the wrong address until they went to thank the hosts for the wonderful time they had and discovered they didn’t actually know anyone. So yes ending up at the wrong party can happen very easily.
Once upon a time, when my office had Christmas parties, a couple of the “higher-ups” would invite people from different organizations that we sometimes interacted with. It was not uncommon for someone to poke their head into the room, not recognize anyone, and think they were at the wrong party. Suffice to say, I never attended.

Many of the Kingdom comics have problem loading today.
Have to tap over and over.

Do not think the girl’s mom knew any different with so many girls there. At least Ruthie had a great time, now onto the right party.
