Robert, I think you can do better with the chin in panel 1. Panels 2 and 3 look right. In addition you could show that the default for Israel and Hamas is to try to harm each other

So, you’re proposing genocide and or mass murder to solve the problem? Hamas has the extinction of Israel in their charter.

“Peace.. would have come a long time ago if one side was not being propped up by the US and the West”You can also make the argument that the hostilities wouldn’t have started if the UN didn’t pass the resolution separating Palestine into separate Arab and Jewish states. What difference at this point does it make? What matters is how to solve the problem here and now. Both sides have to make concessions and be patient when extremists on the opposing side tries to rekindle the conflict.

“And.. Judaism has all of mankind eliminated.”Oh come on! Not even I believe that. The Israelis don’t want to take over the world, just all of what they consider their ancestral homeland. They’re not out to outright kill the Arabs, just chase them out of what’s left of Palestine.

Good summary in WoPo today showing photos of the destruction in Gaza. An interesting table shows number TARGETS HIT by Israel, and number of ROCKETS FIRED by Hamas. But there IS a HUGE difference between sophisticated weapons that hit their “target” (like houses, schools(btw, the only UN schools with Hamas weapons in them were UNOCCUPIED at time) and hospitals), versus primitive unguided rockets that hit basically nothing but open fields.

Yes, the Hamas position is a little insane, exactly like faced the Jews in the Warsaw ghetto under German occupancy. But we aren’t allowed to make historical comparisons that indicate the state of Israel (NOT all Jews) is just as guilty of illegal and despicable acts.

And to the “religious” conversation, Jews, Christians, AND Muslims, all insist they’re the only “chosen by God”, to end up ruling the world and surviving the final “holocaust”.

HIstory has proven the book of myths is the basis for most of the insanity, and inhumanity between “tribes”.

Really? Check the score cards. How many mass murders by the Jewish State compared to Hamas and the other Muslim terrorists? The facts don’t support your comment.

“Hamas has violated ever peace agreement .”And the Israelis have never stopped settlers from building in what was supposed to be Palestinian territory. Big surprise that things are a mess.

“Peace.. would have come a long time ago if one side was not being propped up by the US and the West.”Your “peace” seems to entail the destruction of Israel. One of the favorite arguments of pro-Israel folks, is that Israel is fragile & vulnerable. You seem to agree. I think that’s utter nonsense. The Israelis fought off the Palestinians & the armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria & Iraq in 1948-49. They did not have the backing of any western governments. The US government was still not providing much, if any aid to Israel when the 6 days war started in 1967.The only American made weapons Israel had were WWII era. The Israelis were purchasing European made weapons with holocaust repatriation cash from Germany. Most of the Arab weapons were provided by the USSR, but Iraq & Jordan had American equipment. It’s pretty obvious that the Israeli forces were better trained & had better commanders. This holds true today. After 1978, the US showered Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt & the Saudis with money & weapons. Iraq fell out of the fold for a while, but there hasn’t been any major engagement between nations since 1973. There are extremists in both the Jewish & Muslim camps that will continue the bloodshed until their side controls all of Israel, Gaza & the West Bank. We have a few Christian extremists here with their own agenda.I’m firmly of the opinion that though we have failed to push Israel toward necessary concessions, the conflict would have been much bloodier without our influence.

“Hamas has violated ever peace agreement .”But, the Israelis keep sending settlers to the West Bank. They only removed settlers from the already overpopulated Gaza in 2005.Israel will never have peace while they continue to gobble up Palestinian land. They haven’t made any official declaration about destroying the Palestinian State, but their actions speak loudly enough.

Anyone who kills a person’s child, or children, has created not a terrorist, but a legitimate enemy. It’s how we created more Viet Cong, and how history has proven such actions are pure, simple, war crimes.
