I love the look on Arnold’s face!

@JanLater in the day yesterday, I asked if the strip I posted there was Arnold’s first appearance (other than by name alone). Was it?

Are they all wearing blue because of the something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue tradition?

Arnold first appeared in a strip several years ago when Evie did her first Habitat for Humanity house. He’s been see off and on, but nothing long term. I strongly recommend going back and reviewing the strip from day one. I did that and loved it!

Or not.

What happened to the screen on the door in the last panel, and how did Evie get around a half-opened door to the outside?

We never got to know what Val’s “1st concern” was (last week). It seems that last week she was totally bent out of shape by Evie’s marriage, making snarky remarks (along with Holly). Now suddenly she is all smiles and ready to celebrate. I’m guessing that Evie and others did a sufficient job of convincing her that marriage is permissible, normal and actually cause for celebration.

Val looks like she’s on drugs in the first panel… hee hee….I couldn’t resist (my own snarky comment)..
