Here’s the thing about the end of the ice ages. Those transitions occurred over periods as long as 10,000 years. The warming trend we’re seeing now is one hundred times faster than that.
I don’t post on climate change, because I’m not a climate scientist. I’m not a scientist at all, I’m a humanist, but I have taken the time in my life to study some science – some evolutionary theory and some physics – enough to know what it is to know something, enough to know the difference between knowing about something and not knowing about something. I hope all of you who are posting against climate change theory have taken the time to work up the science in sufficient detail to claim expertise. I hope you are reading the peer-reviewed research, for example. If you don’t have this expertise, then you are, may I say, blowing hot air, which we don’t need more of.
Explain to me how the “Ice Age” article is godless? Did you even look at it?
Am I unchristian for having an interest in earth science? Do you have any concept of the scientific method? Are Christianity and science mutually exclusive?
Seems that an offer of information has been met with the iron fist of the fundamental facist.
