Sure, hide them away to Pal-ul-don where only the strong survive. A circus would be a good alternative, don’t they winter in Florida still, do the small city hockey rink circuit in the summer? Then Hollywood ?
Why can’t they just carve out a place in the regular African wilds? Why do they have to go to a place where they need to fight? They seem like a relatively peaceable type.

It looked like they were all male and of different species of origin, so breeding seems pretty unlikely. This means they have only their own lifespans to plan for. The wilds of Africa would probably do just as well for that time period.
