Jazmine: There goes Riley again. Why does he keep running around the block? Huey: He's in training, so to speak... Jazmine: Does he want to run track when he's older? Huey: No, Riley wants to be a notorious crime lord when he's older... ... This is preparation for his big TV break... Jazmine: I'm confused... Huey: See, Jazmine, Riley is hoping to one day be... The guy who gets away on "cops." Which, I have to admit, is better than the alternative. Riley: (Pant, pant) OK, (Pant) Now you gotta run behind me with a (gasp) video camera so I can see how I'm gonna look (pant, cough) on screen...

Whenever Riley does associate himself with crooks and delinquents, he only ends up regretting it in the climax of the episode. Not that it stops him from calling them.

Riley needs to figure out how he’d look in handcuffs. Cops have these things called ’Raid-E-Os". The cop chasing you might not get you but the canine officer that gets called in will.

He misses the point of COPS. They don’t show the ones who get away.
