Jazmine: Santa is coming soon, Huey. Are you excited? Huey: Uh... no. Jazmine: Do you think I'm dumb for believing in Santa? Huey: No. It's just that most people don't know about the original Santa... Jazmine: Original Santa? Huey: Yep. A black man. The Santa you see today is just an impostor. Jazmine: (Gasp) Really?!! Huey: A long time ago there was a brother named St. Nick Jenkins. Everyone called him "Jolly Jenkins"...
Actually, Santa Claus was actually a man named St. Nicholas of Myra, who, according to Christian tradition, was a bishop in that small Roman town during the 4th century. Nicholas’s reputation for generosity and kindness gave rise to legends of miracles he performed for the poor and unhappy.
