Enoki: Why do you think the climate disaster must happen all at once or never happen at all? These things are sudden only in geologic time, not our brief lifespan. The disaster started long before 2010 and will continue for at least awhile after we finally wake up and do something about it. No wall of water is coming, just a relentless increase.

I keep hearing this is “settled science”. Sorry, there is no such thing. Predicting the future of anything is just a guess. The earth being flat was “settled science”. “Global cooling” was “settled science” until the normal cycle of the earth put us in a warming phase. But, let’s say you are all correct. Everyone in the USA could get rid of their cars, we could shut down the power grid, ban heat of any kind and nothing would change. If you are right, China and India are driving the problem and they will not change. PERIOD. My advise is to move inland and wait for the next crazy idea to make everyone equal. Equally poor. None of this is about climate change. It is about power and making people follow orders. For all of you who are “young”, you better “hold onto your butt” because you are not going to like the Brave New World we are building. And so ends the sermon for the day.
Wilson your sermon hits the truth squarely, but you are preaching to the low information crowd. I know they are because they have been convinced by the likes of Al Gore for God sake.
